The reviewed hybrid-electric Geiranger product includes about three hours of sailing each way and village free time. Treat it as the main day rather than squeezing it between flights or a short port call. Check the confirmed schedule and allow time to reach Skutvika before boarding.

Choose Hjørundfjord for the shorter commitment

The reviewed MS Bruvik round trip lists five hours and departs from Rådhuskaia. It visits Øye, but the listing gives different stop lengths in its itinerary and description. Confirm the actual time ashore before planning lunch or treating the stop as a visit to a booked hotel.

For Geiranger, the reviewed meeting point is Skutvika at Nedre Strandgate 53; the Hjørundfjord departure is from Rådhuskaia. Confirm boarding requirements for your group. The official Geiranger operator warns that changing tides can complicate wheelchair boarding and asks guests to contact it.

Check season and separate costs before paying

Use the selected sailing calendar rather than assuming summer and winter departures are identical. Confirm meals, drinks and any village activity separately.
